Saalbach & Hinterglemm are situated in Tyrol, within approximately one and a half hour drive south of Salzburg or three and a half hours from Munich. Throughout the region you‘ll find spectacular alpine scenes, never-ending single tracks and five lifts – all contribute to making this wonderful region a pure heaven for All kinds of ridings: Cross Country (XC), Allmountain (AM), Free ride (FR) and Down Hill (DH)
Two bike parks and one X-Line – The Adidas bike park in Saalbach, Leogang bikepak - the biggest bike park in Europe, and the X-Line - the new crazy trail going down toward Saalbach. The Saalbach - Hinterglemm unique biking program invites you to join one of 5 riding groups leaving town each day leaded by a local guide.
Biking season begins towards the end of June and comes to an end at the end of September. The weather is pleasant during the day and chilly in the evening. On many days it rains from the afternoon to the following morning and sometimes all day long.
